An award winning Calgary wedding photographer capturing weddings, elopements and couples in Calgary, Canmore, Banff and destinations worldwide.

Wife to one Joe Terry and mother to two amazing little men. Australian and Canadian. Sarcasm enthusiast, never taking myself too seriously, forever inserting myself into friends groups.
After too many hot summers in Australia, we made the decision to settle in Calgary 10 years ago. The artistic ambiance, the unmatched beauty of the Canadian Rockies and friendly fun vibes of the city made it quickly feet like home.
With over 13 years photography experience, I’m often asked why I chose to specialize in weddings. It’s a unique space where emotions run deep – love, joy, and genuine happiness. It’s a privilege to be able to capture these raw and heartfelt moments.

I want to be more than a photographer for you, your wedding photographer experience is so much more than just the pretty pictures at the end. Although I am a Calgary wedding photographer, I have captured weddings on mountaintops, dark grand ballrooms, stained glass churches, and even on beaches. Each wedding has its own character and challenges that require quick thinking. That’s why I believe in versatility. Whether it’s the soft glow of a mountain sunset or the elegance of a grand ballroom, it’s essential to know how to work with different lighting and environments.

FAQ

Do you have a second shooter?

Yes! Joe my wonderful hubby is my second shooter and if booking video then he will be your videographer. He’s the OG wedding crasher who will leave with multiple new friends. I’ve accepted that I’ll never be as cool as Joe.

Do you travel for weddings?

Is any wedding photographer going to say no? I mean come on, of course! On average you can expect to pay $6000 – $7000 for full day coverage including all travel. I have several places on my bucket list including Iceland, Italy, Greece & Morocco.

How long til we see photos after the wedding?

You can expect to have a few sneak peaks within 1 week of the wedding and then all media will be delivered within 6 weeks of the wedding date.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely, wouldn’t leave the house with out it. My insurance not only protects my gear but also gives peace of mind to venues and couples.

DO YOU HAVE BACK UP EQUIPMENT?

Backup was drilled into every semester of my design school so its now become a part of my DNA. Having four cameras and multiple back up lenses is back up for the day (and a fun way to waste buttloads of cash at the camera store) but on top of that, all four of our cameras write to two cards with every click of the shutter. From the moment every image is taken its backed up.

When should we book you?

Most couples book me 6-12 months prior to their wedding date. Some holiday and prime weekend dates (here’s looking at you August – September) are booked further ahead. I only take 15-20 weddings per year before closing my books for the year.

Photo & Video

Start at $7000

Photo and video packages start at 6 hours coverage and include all standard photography packages. Video includes highlight reel and full ceremony video.

Elopement PACKAGES

Start at $3000

Elopement packages range from 3 hours on a weekday in Banff, to heli elopements and full-day adventures.

WHY I BECAME A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN CALGARY, AB

As many modern love stories go, I moved to Canada because I married a Canadian and we decided to settle close to the mountains. The amount of natural beauty within an hour drive the city was like nothing I’d ever seen. I was instantly inspired and couldn’t wait to start shooting here.
I always said that if I ever left the ocean I would only trade it for the mountains. I love that Calgary is so close to Canmore and Banff but still has such a fun atmosphere.
After almost a decade, I’m still in love with Calgary. There is so much to explore, endless outdoor activities to participate in and a great sense of community.
I am so thankful I get the variety of city and mountain weddings. They are so different and consitantly giving fresh inspiration.
